Detroit Hookers

Hey, guys. Sorry I haven't produced any updates in a while. My computers carrying more virus' than a hooker in Detroit. I'll be back soon with some awesome content. But until then I'm gonna have some little short posts from my phone while I try to figure out how to save my computer. :D

Run, Fatty, Run!

Being without a gym membership or any gym equipment whatsoever has only left me with one alternative: Running.

Uhg.

I hate running with a passion. Don't get me wrong I love doing cardio as much as the next guy. I used to be a varsity team swimmer not too recently ago. Pretty damn good, too. But I CAN'T. STAND. RUNNING.

However, like I said a few sentences ago, I have no alternative. So it's time to break out the running shoes and those awesome shoty-short track shorts, and it's time to throw out the "I hate running" attitude.  Time for some major conditioning.

I don't know much about it so I decided to take a routine that looks pretty tuned up for beginners.

Week 1: Monday, Wednesday, Friday - (Run 1minutes, Walk 1.5 minutes) x 8. Total of 20 minutes per day.

Week 2: Monday, Wednesday, Friday - (Run 1.5minutes, Walk 2 minutes) x 6. Total of 21 minutes per day.

Week 3: Monday, Wednesday, Friday - (Run 1.5min, Walk 1.5min, Run 3 min, Walk 3min) x 2. Total of 18 minutes per day.

Week 4: Monday, Wednesday, Friday - (Run 3, Walk 1.5, Run 5, Walk 2.5, Run 3, Walk 1.5, Run 5) Total of 21.5 minutes per day.

Week 5: Monday (Run 5, Walk 3, Run 5, Walk 3, Run 5), Wednesday (Run 8, Walk 5, Run 8), Friday (Run 21) Total of 21 minutes per day.

Week 6: Monday (Run 5, Walk 3, Run 8, Walk 3, Run 5), Wednesday (Run 10, Walk 3, Run 10), Friday (Run 25) Total of 21 (3 extra on last day)  minutes per day.

Week 7: Monday (Run 25), Wednesday (Run 25), Friday (Run 28) Total of 25 (3 extra on the last day) minutes per day.

Week 8: Monday (Run 28), Wednesday (Run 28), Friday (Run 30) Total of 28 (2 extra on the last day) minutes per day.

Week 9: Monday, Wednesday, Friday - Run 30 minutes nonstop per day.

After I finish this up at the end of June/beginning of July I'll see what else I could do to challenge myself to go even further and see if I can get my gym membership back so I can start lifting again, YEAH, but I'm going to make sure that this is the summer where I actually do what I promise myself every year.

Soon...
 Minus the Asian-ness, of course.

Pokemon MUTHA F***KA

That's right. Pokemon.

I'm a huge nerd at heart and there is nothing I love more than a good Pokemon game.

I grew up with the first gen and to this day continue to play ever new gen that comes out. I've been playing Black Version lately and even though the large wave of new pokemon aren't the prettiest thing I've ever seen, Game Freak has out done themselves with this release. Great story that keeps you interested even post content, tons of new features like triple battles and triple rotational battles (holy shit) that bring a new constant challenge. Go. Buy. It.

Now my first competitive team in my opinion was awesome. It was a Fighting Mono OU team. Fighting types had the most advantageous type match ups in the game (also opinion) and to me had great potential. I even managed to take down a few Ubers teams with it. My team was super easy to use, and I recommend it to anyone who is starting out or needs a nice consistent team that can pull off miracles.  My old Kung-Fu Counter team (KFC team ;D) used to consist of this:

Lead

1) Primeape
        Hasty Nature
252 EVs in Attack and Speed (4 in HP)
        Vital Spirit ability
        Holding a Focus Sash
Moveset:
         Counter
         Earthquake
         Close Combat
         Endeavor

He was pretty damn awesome at taking down any kind of sweeper leads and extremely effective vs baton passer types. Usually didn't last through more than two pokemon. However, sometimes he pulled off some awesome set like: One-Hit KO their lead(+) with Close Combat/Earthquake, Counter KO their speed sweeper(Usually with them one hitting him first, but thanks to Focus Sash he gets a shot in), and setting up Endeavor on the next.

Damage Focus Types

2) Toxicroak
         Adamant Nature
252 EVs in Attack and Speed (4 in special defense)
         Anticipation Ability
         Holding a Life Orb
Moveset:
         Swords Dance
         Cross Chop
         Sucker Punch
         Thunder Punch

He was my personal favorite in the team. Great match up types and crazy high Attack. Get a Swords Dance or two on him and he can easily sweep a whole team.

3) Lucario
         Jolly Nature
252 EVs in Attack and Speed (4 in special defense)
         Steadfast Ability
         Holding a Life Orb
Moveset:
         Swords Dance
         Close Combat
         Extreme Speed
         Ice Punch

This one was my main defense against Flying and Dragon types. Over 300 in both Speed and Attack and with full Swords Dance buff he could usually one hit anything with Extreme Speed with out fail.

3) Infernape
         Naive Nature
252 EVs in Special Attack, 192 in Speed, 64 in Attack
         Blaze Ability
         Holding a Life Orb
Moveset:
         Fire Blast
         Close Combat
         Grass Knot
         Hidden Power (water)

My main Special Sweeper and main defense for Fire, Water, and Ground/Rock types. Moveset type advantage was really nice. I used him whenever someone got past the first two damage types and hes come in handy more times than one. Definite need for a mainly melee run team.

Stallers

4)  Poliwrath
         Adamant Nature
252 EVs in Attack and HP (4 in defense)
         Water Absorb Ability
         Holding Leftovers
Moveset:
         Substitute
         Focus Punch
         Water Fall
         Bulk Up

This one is such a pain in the ass to get through. Hes not mainly tank based, but with his super high HP paired with Substitute and Leftovers made him an easy candidate for Focus Punch sweeping. Plus if you managed to get a few Bulk Ups (or switch between Sub. -> Bulk Up -> Focus Punch) He could just as easily become a Waterfall sweeper.

6) Hariyama
         Impish Nature
252 EVs in Defense, 172 in Attack, and 80 in HP
         Thick Fat Ability
         Holding Leftovers
Moveset:
         Force Palm
         Ice Punch
         Whirlwind
         Payback

This was my last resort. Hariyama has a natural SUPERFUCKINGHIGH Hit Point pool. Paired with Leftovers made him recover a TON of health back every turn. He also has a naturally high Attack stat which came in handy. I didn't waist time on trying to Substitute stall with this guy. If I was using him, that meant I had no where else to turn and its time to go all out! Vs a hard hitter, Payback was amazing. Vs a staller type, I had to rely on Force Palms Paralyzing chance. If I had just been mega swept and still had a ton of their team left to take care of, Whirlwind was a perfect mediator. The Thick Fat ability also helped in long term defensive fights.

Let me know what you guys think with some comments! :D

Fatty Blog: Lifestyle

Alright, before I get too far into what I want to talk about today, I need to clear something up.

I SUCK WHEN IT COMES TO WILLPOWER.

That being said, I have a more meaningful way to put it-

The reason I fail instead of succeed is that I trade what I want most for what I want at the moment.

I'm a fatty at heart, guys. Been one all of my life. I think what the normal fat people think when they say that their fat is "genetic" is that it's hard to change a life style. Even one that kills you in more ways than one. Having parents like mine just make the entire process more difficult to over come. Don't get me wrong, now. I love my parents to death and don't blame them for anything what so ever, ESPECIALLY my problem controlling my weight. That shit is totally on me. But what I mean by that is growing up I had a mom that didn't care what I did. No matter what she supported any and every choice I made as a child. Shes worked hard all her life. Juggle three jobs and four kids at the same time, she didn't have time to think about what to put on the table, just that something made it to the table. (There has been many "Fend For Yourself" nights) My father on the other hand was strict as could be, but not at all in terms of health. He's been a big guy ever since he was a baby. He was the most physically fit person the family had seen while he was a teenager. He was always outside running, swimming, biking, handstand walking, ect. doing something. He always ate everything he could whenever he could and managed to use it to his advantage building him into everything that is fit. But when he settled down and got a job and had a kid his activity level changed, but not his lifestyle. He still ate as much as he could when ever her could. I grew up the baby in the family. Both parents overweight. It was bound to happen to me.

BUT THAT'S WHERE WE CHANGE
I'm not just trying to to become physically fit. I'm not just trying to lose weight. I'm not just trying to improve my looks to get a girl. No. I'm going to change my lifestyle. I'm going the change the way I live. Change the way I eat. Change the way I move. They way I think. I'm not going to look at going to the gym as some chore that has to be done in order to get what I want. I'm not going to think of dieting as some other challenge that I'm not willing to overcome. The first step to doing so is to make what I want at the moment, what I want most

This next part is from Philrayho's formspring (http://www.formspring.me/philrayho) Member of the Aesthetics Crew and huge inspiration to me:

Question: "opinion on how many young teens will actually continue with their bodybuilding goals?"

Philrayho's Answer: "tbh just by the majority of the questions i get, not fucking many. it seems most of them are in love with the final product and not in love with what it takes to get there. they want to kno how quick they can get there and the easiest way to get there. 'how long did it take u to get like that?" "whats the easiest way to get to 10%?" do i HAVE to train abs? do i have to take gear to look like that? i get pissed every weekend will it affect my gains? everybody wants to look like a bodybuilder, but nobody wants to live like one. my body is a by-product of my lifestyle. a lifestyle that im in love with. if i never lived and breathed like this, i wouldnt look like this. simple as that. ... good question tho"

I will become fit. I will become healthy. No matter what it takes, and no matter how hard it gets. And in the process fall in love with the lifestyle I want. Not settle for the sad excuse of a "lifestyle" I'm living now.

Fat, your conquerors name is MINE.

Greetings, Yo. Fitness Incoming.

Hey there! I'm Matt. I'm super brand new to blogging, so bear with me, lol. I may or may not have any idea of what to do in terms of blogging etiquette.. If that even exists.

I'm here to shape my life the shit up and track it in hopes of not only completing my goals, but hopefully inspiring and motivating others to do the same. :D

So, first off the least I can do is tell you a little about myself

My names Matt Compton
I'm 19
5'8"
215 lbs
Gorgeous hair and beard combo
First year college student
Super Unemployed
God damn sexy
Crazy smart
Did I mention that I'm modest?
My interests very from gaming and lifting to meeting new people and playing my super mega damn awesome guitar. I'm into any kind of comedy. :)

I recently stopped lifting for unknown reasons after being on a bulking cycle and gained a lot of weight back. See, I was on a "Gomad" regimen where you simply lift big and eat everything in sight. I started at 200 lbs and worked my way up to 210 lbs (10 pound gains in pure muscle) in about two and a half months on this routine:

WORKOUT A
Flat Bench 5 pyramid sets(Ramp weights higher every set) 10-10-8-5-5/1
Seated Dumbbell Curls 3x10
Preacher Curls 2 set to fail
Wrist Curls 2 set to fail
Optional but recommended: Ab extensions and Lower back extensions.

WORKOUT B
Cable Pulldowns 2x10
Close Grip cable Pulldowns 2x10
Seated Rows 2x10
Close Grip Bench 4x10
Tricep Extensions 3 sets til fail
45 Degree Pushdowns 3x10
Optional but recommended: Ab extensions and Lower back extensions.

WORKOUT C
Leg Ext. 3x10
Leg Press 5 pyramid sets (Adding two plates after every set) x 20-20-16-10-10/5
Leg Ext. 2x10
Calf Raises 3 set to fail
Optional but recommended: Ab extensions and Lower back extensions.

DEADLIFT (Test Day) every ten days. 5 pyramid sets x 10-10-8-5-1

Monday - A
Tue. Wed. - OFF
Thursday - B
Fri. Sat. OFF
Sunday - C

Now I'm not saying that this workout is perfect at all. My uncle was a personal trainer and has huge lifts, so I asked him for a regimen to start with and this is what he gave me. I gotta admit, though, I did make some very nice gains both in strength and size. But I'm suspecting that they're the fabled "noob gains" where your body naturally buffs out, gaining size and strength to accommodate the new changes in your lifestyle.

My lifts weren't that great, but I was just starting.

Bench: 160x5
Pulldowns: 150x5
Tricep Extension: 65x8
Leg Press: 465x5
Deadlift: 300x1

I stopped lifting during Spring Break and my gym membership ran out of time. I may have stopped exercising, but I kept eating the same way. I became lethargic and had no real outlet to go do anything with. Mostly due to my hate for running, lol. Eventually I got to the point I'm at right now.

And that's what I'm going to change! I'm going to mold myself into something amazing. My goal is to become my own god! Become physically fit, both in aesthetics and functionality. I have to work hard now to do what I couldn't yesterday. I dunno, I'll come up with something more motivational tomorrow, it's like 2:45 in the morning. xD

But first things first. Gotta find some form of income to pay for new diet and gym membership. THUS THE NEW DAY BEGINS.
